Team Spike Trains
So it's taken me four months, but finally, here are the pictures of the Team Spike Junk Modelling Day we had back in November. Please note that Gordy had some 'help' from Isabel with his masterpiece. Isabel was also responsible for painting all three trains. Place your votes for Best Spike Train in the comments please!

Mattingly: Smooth, linear edifices besmirched with furious crimson like a neo-classical skyscraper covered with the menstrual blood of a thousand childless thirty-two-year-olds or a beautiful swedish hi-fi that has witnessed the union of a tiny lamb and a canis panther. How I ache for these dazzling monstronsities to carry me far down the tramlines of release, calling at oblivion and dreamlessness but not stopping at forgiveness. Epic.
Benson: Bulky, misshapen, strangely engaging - artist and work are as one. We cannot know what deeper motives surge and circle beneath this proto-Stygian Bauhaus of non-conformist expression. Green and yellow like the very pus that lurks in the heart of the common man; I tremble before the smartie boxes that scream 'Jesus, make my life run on time!' Sweeping.
Green: The train is black because a Bad Man touched it. It used to smile, but now it cries silent tears of oil from it's luminous cork funnel. I weep openly for it's lost innocence. It's ugly, fascistic squatness serves only to remind us that the power of the patriarchy is unyielding - those who board without a ticket WILL BE PUNISHED!
I vote Benson for the train prize. Now, if you will excuse me, the chaise-longue and the sweet kiss of opiates require my attention.
ROFL at Phil's comment.
I vote for Phil, on the grounds that two trains are the new one train. My vote has nothing to do with canis panthers whatsoever.
